This year, The Yanks will be returning in full force to perform at Catskills Irish Arts Week, and I will be teaching uilleann pipes workshops all week long. I haven't missed CIAW in fifteen years, and for good reason! It is one of the most enjoyable and authentic festivals for traditional Irish music to be found in this country as well as in Ireland, to which myself along with hundreds of other players and fans of the music look forward every year.
